On the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of Thai-Philippines
Diplomatic Relations, Thailand post has issue postage stamps depicting the Traditional dance of Thailand and Philippine - "Ten Krathop Sark" ( is a traditional Thai dance of the Northeastern region of Thailand. It is usually performed during the fifth lunar month after the planting season" and the national dance - "The Tinikling" is a national dance of the Philippines originated in the island of Leyte in the Visayan Islands. The dance, named after Tiding birds, involves two people hitting bamboo poles.
